TUPAD payout in Limay

The Public Employment Service Office (PESO), in collaboration with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) conducted a Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/ Displaced Workers (TUPAD) payout for 3,000 qualified beneficiaries on October 9, 2024 at the Limay Sports Complex.

TUPAD is a community-based program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that provides temporary employment opportunities to displaced, marginalized, or informal workers. Said beneficiaries received ₱5,000.00 each for participating in community projects, such as clean-up drives, sidewalk sweeping, grass cutting, maintaining cleanliness in public areas, desilting and declogging of canals, and vegetable farming, fostering both personal and community development.

Last October 7, a TUPAD payout was also conducted in the Municipality of Hermosa where 1,270 qualified beneficiaries also received ₱5,000.00 each in cash.
